Description

The Easyboot Back Country is a great horse boot for pleasure riding and can easily double as a performance boot. It features a Comfort Cup Gaiter that’s soft and thick, and a front shield with a sleek fit. Ideal for short or long rides, be sure to throw one in your pack because it’s a great replacement for a lost shoe.

Replacing a Back Country Upper

You will need a Phillips head screwdriver and a new gaiter/upper from as well as vice grips for leverage.

Before you begin

  • Gather your tools:

You will need a Phillips head screwdriver, vice grips, and replacement parts (new upper and hardware).

  • Apply Loctite:

We recommend applying Loctite to the new screws to help prevent them from loosening after installation.

Step-by-step replacement

Remove the old hardware:

    • Fold the gaiter back to expose the screws.
    • Use vice grips to hold the gaiter in place for leverage.
    • Unscrew the old hardware, starting with the front screws and then the back screws. The back screw may be the most difficult to remove.

Keep the old washers and screws in case they are needed.
