In our search for an even better rasp we have started importing the Bassoli brand. These are a top quality product; sharp and long lasting. Made in Italy.
This new concept or a rasp on both sides works well, there is the normal aggressive side rasp and then on the other side a smaller finer rasp instead of a file.
These are a favorite as not only are they wider (50mm) than a standard 14″ rasp (42mm) but they last longer as you have a rasp on both sides instead of a rasp on one side and a file on the other.
