We cater for rehabilitation, long term, short term and retirement and provide peace of mind when you need to go away. We cater for special needs and have a great network of professionals who cover all areas; top vets, dentists, body workers and handlers. We also have our own resident qualified veterinary nurse.

There are three levels of care at our centre, all include weekly hoof examination and trimming if needed.

Intensive care
This is on rubber laneways, and loop paddocks where the animals are attended three times a day, hard fed, medicated, boots changed, bandages changed, Bedding and yards cleaned, feet examined daily and trimmed as often as needed. Care, hoof care and hay is included hard feed and medication cost extra. See other extra charges below.

Intermediate care
This is generally in paddocks but involves attending twice daily with rugs and hard feeds

Pasture agistment
Animals are at pasture, examined and fed hay twice daily if needed. Animals are trimmed weekly. Care, hoof care and hay is included – hard feed and medication cost extra.

Retirement agistment
We are increasingly asked about long term agistment for retired horses; somewhere nice to see out their days. New paddocks have been opened up that are large and safe for horses, flat to undulating and well sheltered by trees or loose boxes and you will always be welcome to visit your old friends. Ask about our human accommodation.

From ponies to Clydies
$30 per week

Extra Charges for retirement agistment are: Hard feeding / supplements additional $35 / week (if necessary) plus feed at cost (includes rugging if needed).

OR Just rugging $5 /day

Massage Therapist $ 60 – $90 (eg: EMT / Bowen)

Dietary supplements and other feeds we use charged at cost or can be supplied by owner.

In times of drought assistance with hay is appreciated. Either supplied by owner or charged at cost.
